Mexico City, June the 27th, 2022.- The main goal of the British (current no. 12 ATP) in the next Mifel Tennis Open will be to show his best game ever by, trying to defend last year´s title.
Not an easy task for Norrie, due to the fact that he`ll probably be facing the Russian Daniil Medvedev (No.1) and the Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime (No. 9).
With only 26, he is the main (No. 1) representative of the United Kingdom and in recent years has been climbing the ATP rankings, reaching the Top 10 thanks to his great tennis.
Achieving the first of the four titles, precisely in Los Cabos last year. Previously, he was finalist at Auckland in 2019, Estoril 2021, Lyon 2021 and London / Queen’s Club 2021.
This year, he`ll try to maintain momentum from last years performance where he also won the Indian Wells Masters 1000 final. So far the most important victory of his career. Meanwhile winning titles this year at Delray Beach and Lyons.
On the other hand, Norrie will seek to stand out at Wimbledon, this seasons 3rd Grand Slam, aiming to get through the 3rd round and improve his record (26 wins and 14 losses)
