Kecmanovic and Blumberg, doubles champions in Los Cabos
Los Cabos, August 6, 2022.- Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic and American Williams Bulmber defeated Brazil’s Marcelo Melo and South Africa’s Raven Klaasen 6-, 6-0 to win the doubles title at the Mifel Tennis Open 2022 held this week in Los Cabos.
With the win, Kecmanovic and Blumberg became the sixth pair to win the doubles title.
In the opening match of the sixth and final day of the tournament held at the Cabo Sport Complex, Kecmanovic and Blumberg were solid and convincing in a match that took less than an hour to complete.
In the first set, the Serbian, semifinalist in singles, and the American defended their serve three times, breaking their rivals to sign a relentless 6-0.
In the second set, they seemed to crush their rivals, who rescued a game for a 6-1 win.
The six pairs that have lifted the title in Los Cabos are:
