Two Mexicans and one Colombian in the Los Cabos qualifiers
- Mexican Luca Lemaitre and Alan Magadán along with Colombian Nicolás Mejía enter the stage.

Los Cabos, July 12, 2025.- Mexicans Luca Lemaitre and Alan Magadán, along with Colombian Nicolás Mejía, will seek to advance this Saturday in the qualifying tournament of the ninth edition of the Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo, whose main tournament will be played from July 14 to 19 at the Cabo Sports Complex.
In the opening round of eight matches, Lemaitre will face Estonia’s Mark Lajal, 168th in the PIF ATP Rankings, and Magadan (No. 897) will face Australia’s Moerani Bouzige (No. 348).
Also from Australia, veteran Bernard Tomic will play against American Elijah Strode (N.899), while his brother Isaiah Strode (N.726) will face Colombian Nicolas Mejia (N.243).
The day is completed with the duels between the Americans Murphy Cassone and Evan Zhu and Strong Kirchheimer against Govind Nanda. In addition to the matches between China’s Wu Yibing and American Braden Shick and Japan’s Yasutaka Uchiyama against Canada’s Taha Baadi.
The qualifying tournament in Los Cabos is played on Saturday and Sunday and awards four tickets to the main draw.
